A visual practice by
Hamed Sarhadi
Every image begins long before the shutter is pressed or the render button is clicked. It begins in observation. Between the world and the eye, between memory and imagination, between human intuition and digital tools, an ongoing dialogue continuously reshapes what we perceive. Image-making is not a linear act of creation, but a living network of perception where every participant leaves its trace. It is an ecology of perception.
My practice pendulates between two ways of making images: with optical and computational machines. A conceptual movement between observing and envisioning. Photography begins with encountering the world already around us; Architectural visualization allows me to imagine worlds before they exist. Yet both emerge from the same way of seeing.

observing // sidewalkvoyeur
Architecture as it already exists in the world.
Photography becomes an act of noticing: people, light, geometry, and fleeting moments that reveal how space is actually lived.
envisioning // f9 studio
Architecture before it becomes reality.
Images shaped through geometry, light, atmosphere, and imagination: exploring how a space might be seen, inhabited, and experienced.
