Between Two Worlds x Istanbul
The face of a city, alive in between the gaps.
Istanbul is a city that resists a singular narrative. Here, past and future move side by side; the call to prayer echoes through historic streets while, just a few blocks away, avant-garde youth culture unfolds in cafés, bars, galleries, and public spaces late into the night.

This photographic series is an exploration of that duality, not as a contradiction, but as a coexistence. Istanbul is a place where spirituality and contemporary urban life, East and West, occupy the same frame. From shadowed figures wandering through centuries-old neighborhoods to the illuminated skyline along the Bosphorus, from the quiet presence of history to the restless energy of a generation constantly redefining the city.

In these images, architecture is more than a backdrop; it becomes a stage upon which everyday life is performed. A city whose identity is shaped not by choosing one side over another, but by embracing the creative tension between different worlds. Perhaps that is why Istanbul is more than a destination to be seen; it is a place to be experienced, observed, and continually rediscovered.
